Notes
Uncle Larry plays a little rock and roll for the class after getting home from a long day of sessioneering.

Today’s amp of choice is a fantastic handmade limited edition Sundragon Super Dragon 100 head through an old basketweave Marshall 4x12 slant cabinet (with a custom partially open back panel that absolutely RULES)

This amp was designed by Mitch Colby and Jimmy Page, and it was kindly gifted to me a while back by my friends Dirk Ziff and Perry Margouleff… and I thank them very much for that…..what a cool fuckin amp.

Had an absolute blast today on a Trace Adkins session at Oceanway Studio in Nashville TN…it was so nice to see my dear old friends

Scott Hendricks: producer
Jeff Balding: engineer
Tony Lucido : bass
Nir Z: drums
Gordon Mote: keys
Troy Lancaster: electric guitar
Bryan Sutton: acoustic guitar
Lance: tape op

02:02 - Playing the amp

Notes
Uncle Larry gives ya a tour of a very cool new amp built by the folks at Sundragon out of NYC

Everything about this amp is about is deluxe as you can get, even the way it was packed in the shipping boxes with the covers on it was a work of art

This is obviously the result of someone building an amp and sparing absolutely no expense in the process ...the absolute best shit money can buy...which I reckon would explain the 22K price tag

I kinda get the same feeling playing this amp that I do when I fire up the old Durango Hellcat for whatever that's worth

Hope you enjoy this video friends

Trying to capture the sounds of this beast with an iPhone mic is like trying to put an ocean in a ziplock sandwich bag, but hey, we do what we can around here

here is the link to the Sundragon website...cool stuff here friends
