01:30 - Acoustic guitar repaired
02:55 - Duke Levine in the studio
04:07 - Back in the kitchen playing some nice tunes with the new SG
Notes
Three parts for ya in this vid....
1) a nice peek at the LOVELY guitar repair work of my dear old friend Nick Drushel at Glaser Instrument Repair in Nashville…615-298-1139
Nick is a gifted repair man…he uses his boundless creativity and skill to solve any problem I or anyone else can ever come up with.
He loves a challenge and ALWAYS finds a way to make it work in the end...mad respect bro.
2) a quick look at the session I’ve been in the last two days at Curb Studio in Nashville on a Wade Bowen record.
Been having an absolute blast playing with Duke Levine and the rest of that amazing band.
Check out the little call and answer thing between him and I on that intro.
i play the major 7 riff and then he does those bad ass slide down answers... the end result sounds like one big awesome guitar.
3) a little late night Buk jam for all you night owls out there…been fine tuning and tweakin' this old SG after getting it back today from a killer refret by Nick.
Those offset conversion posts he designed to be able to put an ABR-1 on your old Gibson using the original stud holes are gonna be a game changer for everyone when they come out.

Notes
Uncle Larry gives it to ya straight on in this one...real talk...
i mean let's face it people.... vibrato is like the guitar players "fingerprint" if you will...if you must...
It is one of a very small number of key distinguishing factors that separates one guitar player from another in a police line up of guitar players...
It needs to be paid attention to VERY CLOSELY and, according to some recent NASA findings, most guitar players don't THINK about their vibrato nearly as much as they should...i tend to agree.
a LOT of people have asked me lately where they can go to buy a Homeskoolin t shirt or other sexy ass Homeskoolin' merch...well...this is where you go.

15:53 - Intonating the new bridge
22:39 - Demonstation of what the old original bridge sounded like for comparison
Notes
Ok guys, this video could conceivably be extremely boring to some "casual viewers", so it comes with a warning.
Unless you are interested in a 23 minute video of what a DRASTIC improvement swapping out the original bridge of an old 50s Les Paul Junior with a new Music City Bridge Stud Finder bridge makes, do NOT watch this.
This video is ONLY intended for the truly hardcore vintage guitar nerds out there…i repeat…DO NOT watch this unless you are a total vintage guitar nerd.
There are 3 segments…
1) intro and basic install of new bridge (0:00 to 15:52)
2) intonating the new bridge (15:53 to 22:38)
3) demonstation of what the old original bridge sounded like for comparison (22:39 to end)

There have been many musical giants who have roamed the earth and conquered long before the time we are in now…we must always listen back and learn from those ancestors who learned/wrote and performed music before “the great distraction” took place.
