Chapters00:00 - Getting information about overhauling acoustics
Notes
I had so many possible names for this episode …
“Trifecta”
“Cathedral”
“Fuck Satin”
but i inevitably settled on “they’re all free” for obvious reasons.
This episode stars Nathan Golliher, Greg Voros and Tony Nagy from Gruhn Guitars in Nashville TN, and Eric “Ebo” Borash from Ebo Customs in Lebanon TN
Every one of these guys is a world class repair man , and I had a feeling we would get into some deep ass water if I just asked a few questions…so of course i did
Hope you guys enjoy

Homeskoolin’ Bonus “The Most Underrated Restaurant In Nashville?…AND An Auction!”
Chapters00:00 - Nice restaurant
01:25 - Old amp rack case
Notes
Hello friends and particularly my Nashvillian friends …if you want some BAD ASS clean fresh food , you GOTTA check out this place in Bellevue called Pho-Ann at 7073 Highway 70S
It’s in a very unassuming strip mall and from the outside you probably wouldn’t think much of it …(btw the Mexican place next door is also amazing and an alltime favorite of my dear sweet boys)
This place is consistently INCREDIBLE and i just pray that it stays alive ..we all know how brutal the restaurant biz is
Of course no one asked me to make this video …I am just a big believer in promoting REAL quality in this world that is full of fake bullshit
Check it out if you come to town
Simple and nice …like a good guitar part
AND…whoever bids the highest on this old amp rack will be celebrated on the progrum and the proceeds will be given to my most broke friend (yet to be determined, as I have a LOT of broke friends)…and I promise that the recipient will be worthy of such a thing

Uncle Larry takes a stroll on a sweet old transition logo Fender …through an old Fender amp from the same year
I think of it as “transitional tone” that was available in any real music store in America in 1965, just as Leo was being asked to step down and take a 10 year break from building anything with the no compete clause that the CBS suits so wisely put in the contract when they bought the second best guitar company in American history
and...here is the most interesting interview in country music history

I KNOW that for many of you out there, this was the amp that was in the trunk of your high mileage late 70’s GM vehicles when you got your first blow jobs after a gig.
and totally unrelated , I know you’ve already seen it, but go back and watch the original 2004 Friday Night Lights movie by Peter Berg….
I watched it with the boys last night ….so gripping , so powerful…UNBELIEVABLE acting performances by Billy Bob and Tim McGraw…
just an incredible movie…and the soundtrack by Explosions In The Sky is soooooo fucking good…and when “just got paid” by ZZ comes on it’s just the perfect marriage between film and music
What a fuckin movie holy shit

Homeskoolin’ Volume Area Code 615, “Chief Wahoo”
Chapters00:00 - Topps baseball cards
Notes
Uncle Larry shows the class an absolutely GORGEOUS complete set of 1971 Topps Baseball cards.
I am ABSOLUTELY SURE this video will bring back some fun memories for all you guys out there who are old like me.
This set is known by collectors as being a particularly difficult set to find in high grade condition due to the black borders…it was also Topps earliest foray into “action shot” cards and also the first time they ever put the players photo on the back of the card.
People think i am ONLY into old football cards…but i have a KILLER 1973 Topps baseball set as well…as well as nice complete conservative sets of Topps Baseball between 1975 and 1983
As far as my well documented football card obsession goes, I have beautiful complete sets by all four companies (Topps, Bowman, Philadelphia Gum, and Fleer) between 1954 and 1980

Pick your favorite bone from the late spring line-up of 30’s Martins that are piling up at the Homeskoolin’ Industries headquarters nerve center….warehouse…station….place.
These guitars were all built in the same factory within a year from each other, yet they are so COMPLETELY different..I even threw a bad ass old piece of Parsons Street history in there so you can compare that too
