There’s a hilarious old bit of Nashville session folklore that I have heard since I first moved here…

It’s about a Japanese record producer who didn’t quite “know the lingo” getting really excited on a session and yelling “you play your ass out!!” to all the musicians hahaaaa

Notes
Hello friends, several YouTuber friends of mine have recently suggested that I should start experimenting with clickbait video titles and thumbnails to get more views…so I thought “how to be great at guitar in 15 minutes” would REALLY get some people’s attention…even if the video has nothing to do with that

…and then I’m gonna find a picture of some really delicious looking cheesecake to put in the thumbnail…I mean, they HAVE TO click on that right?

Notes
Three parts for ya in this vid....

1) a nice peek at the LOVELY guitar repair work of my dear old friend Nick Drushel at Glaser Instrument Repair in Nashville…615-298-1139
Nick is a gifted repair man…he uses his boundless creativity and skill to solve any problem I or anyone else can ever come up with.
He loves a challenge and ALWAYS finds a way to make it work in the end...mad respect bro.

2) a quick look at the session I’ve been in the last two days at Curb Studio in Nashville on a Wade Bowen record.
Been having an absolute blast playing with Duke Levine and the rest of that amazing band.
Check out the little call and answer thing between him and I on that intro.
i play the major 7 riff and then he does those bad ass slide down answers... the end result sounds like one big awesome guitar.

3) a little late night Buk jam for all you night owls out there…been fine tuning and tweakin' this old SG after getting it back today from a killer refret by Nick.
Those offset conversion posts he designed to be able to put an ABR-1 on your old Gibson using the original stud holes are gonna be a game changer for everyone when they come out.
