Homeskoolin’ Bonus Collage, “Riverside Revival”
Chapters00:00 - Guitar emersion
04:08 - Playing the '58
Notes
Yes, the planning is still in it’s infantile stages…but i can tell you that there is nothing short of “a movement” underfoot here in the windy streets of Nashville Tennessee.
There is an amazing new venue in east nashville that is built in a totally renovated old church called “Riverside Revival”.
It is being run by some dear friends and kindred musical spirits.
Among them Nick “The Chef” Govrik….my old band mate from Trigger Hippy.
There is definitely gonna be some crazy guitar related action taking place in this building in the not so distant future.
There is even talk of a full on “Nashville Guitar Immersion” program where select people can buy a first class ticket to the full hang and inside behind the scenes access to the community of players here.
We are not sure exactly what it is gonna be yet, but you can trust me on this one thing….Nicky G knows how to throw a fuckin bad ass party.
There is no doubt that whatever ends up happening is gonna be deeeee-luxe.
There is talk of a gig in late February to kick things off and get people acquainted with the venue….a gig with myself, Guthrie Trapp, Jack Ruch, dearest Jedd Hughes and some other guests….and we will working in some master class guitar repair workshops with Greg Voros and Gruhn Guitars.
Stay tuned for further details friends.

Notes
Television's own Uncle Larry, absolutely exuberant about finally being home and being reunited with his trusty old '38 bone…waxes rhapsodic about that one thing we have ALL thought about since we were little kids….what it's like to really be in a band.
(and now, shift to "first person")
Now that touring is finally calming down and fall is on the way (praise God) it's time to put some focus on some projects that i started on a while back, such as this little instrumental EP that dear Guthrie Trapp and myself are putting together…it's so much fun.....here’s a little snippet from one of the three tracks we already have "in the can"....gonna go back in soon and do some more.
Also, I couldn’t help but add in a few other crazy things at the end of this vid...a dumb meme that cracks me up... " I AM THE JUAN PERCENT"....oh and my alltime favorite thing that my sweet little boy Leo ever drew for his dear old dad….a totally random partial list he made at school one day of some of our favorite songs we like to jam in the car…precious keepsake.
"you got another thing comin"
"black sabbath"
"hot rod lincoln"
"iron man"
"rock and roll music"
"yellow submarine"
"starship trooper"
"hard day's nite"
"breakin' the law"
"don't stand so close to me"
"behind my camel" (instrumental by the police off zenyatta mondatta)
and one more i could never read
Thanks again for supporting the channel folks….i am doing everything legally allowed to show you guys whatever i can…absolutely free of charge of course. Why am i doing it? Because music has been really good to me in this life, and i feel like it’s the right thing to do to give it all back to a bunch of total strangers...
i hope you guys know how much i sincerely appreciate the little community we have built here …. ya’ know, except for a few kids in the back of the room that get a little too excited at times (like Brock Thomas....man what a tool) we got something very real going here….i for one do not take it for granted.

I’m not trying to come across like some kind of Youtube martyr here, but i hope you guys realize that I purposely turn off the monetization on my videos so you don’t have to sit through fucking ads….i also never ask you fuckers to “smash that like button”…and, i never put thumbnails on my videos with big font that says “YOU ARE PLAYING HIGHWAY TO HELL WRONG AND YOU ARE A LOSER” with a picture of my face looking mean.
That HAS to be worth something

Notes
I’m skipping Volume 133, since there were inadvertently two Volume 128’s…so if anyone ever tells you they have seen the “lost episode 133” you KNOW they are totally full of shit.
and...just for the memory books..the first video description from Corona Lessons Volume 1, back in March of 2020, that you guys probably didn't read.
"My attempt at lifting the spirits of my fellow man up a bit in this fucking crazy time of world crisis....stupid virus....and furthermore....
Even though i basically stay home and play the guitar all day anyway, I'm not comfortable with the fact that now i HAVE to stay home and play the guitar all day.
I hear all of you who suggested that I do "Skype" lessons or something...unfortunately this is the best I can do....until i learn what "Skype" means...
and also, for anyone that might be thinking to themselves "man, Tom Bukovac sure has been putting up a lot of youtube videos lately...who does he think he is...some kinda celebrity??" ....keep in mind that i participate in ABSOLUTELY ZERO social media of any kind. I have very strong beliefs that social media is the downfall of all mankind....
although it can be argued that youtube itself is a form of social media, i feel like it gets a pass because it can actually be "educational" ....and because it can actually be "cool"...and unlike the other forms of social media, it isn't a "total waste of time" solely invented to "feed the ego" while simultaneously robbing the world of any of the "beautiful mystery" it once had....
wow, lookie there....my first RANT..."

Notes
If you happen to live in Nashville or if you plan to visit soon you absolutely MUST check out this amazing restaurant....its called “Kitchen Downtown” in the legendary Arcade in downtown Nashville. Owned and operated by one of my best pals on this earth...Nick “NICKY G” Govrik....a hard working Hungarian who provides healthy and delicious food for very reasonable prices.
Nick was the bassist and main songwriter for Trigger Hippy, the band i played in back in the mid 10’s with Steve Gorman, Joan Osborne and Jackie Greene. You will love this place, Uncle Larry guarantees it.
