Contrary to public opinion, for many many years, Uncle Larry has been saying that as long as you use the RIGHT pedals, there is almost zero difference between going through a large system of modern pedals in bypass mode and plugging the guitar straight in to the amp .

In this heavily produced and carefully edited four part video I will show four examples….A B C and D.

On two of these four examples I am plugged straight into the amp, and on the other two of them are going through a million pedals in bypass made and about 50 extra feet of high impedance cable.

Can you tell the difference?

and if there IS a difference , please note that I could engage any one of these pedal and get it right back in two seconds …and then have a million cool sounds at my disposal

and they didn’t have to “go direct” or put “baffles” in front of the amp…and they didn’t have “expression pedals” for their “modeling device”…and if they DID have a pedal , it said “MXR” on it in big block letters …and it ran on a 9 volt …and it sounded fuckin great …
